Preschool

Our Preschool program provides children with the tools necessary to develop educational skills needed for a successful transition into Pre-kindergarten and for life.  Language and literacy along with math concepts and social studies are introduced to secure ideas and maintain interests.   

At Bright Kidz Preschool our creative curriculum is packed with many educational elements while having a fun time. We work with games that teach letter/sound recognition as well as basic math concepts, computer introduction and hands-on science exploration. 

Using Creative Curriculum, Teachers:

Social and Emotional 

• Instill cooperation with others
• Promote self-expression
• Expand on dramatic play 

Language 

• Encourage student’s creativity and the ability to tell stories of their own 
• Promote understanding of first and last name 
• Help students repeat songs from memory
• Reinforce letter recognition 

Cognitive 

• Work on knowledge of colors and numbers
• Encourage counting individually and in a group
• Use repetitive stories  to boost child’s ability to repeat /relocate information.

Motor Skills 

• Promote the use of scissors and cutting in a straight line
• Work on gross motor skills such as : jumping on two feet , marching, balancing and directional concepts
• Implement fine motor skills such as ; holding a crayon and/ or pencil correctly
• Outdoor exploration on age-appropriate play ground
